Is this paid advertising?

Yes, but only to warm people: visitors to your website and contacts already on your list. It doesn't put your ads in front of cold strangers. That's the Client Catalyst System, a separate Traffic System add-on in Magnet 2.0, for when you want new audiences as well.

Do I need my own ad account?

No. We run every campaign from our own ad accounts, using our tracking pixel on your site. You never need to open Facebook, Google or LinkedIn's ad tools.

Is the ad spend extra?

No. The ad spend is included in your monthly fee, so there's no separate budget to fund and no surprise bill from an ad platform.

What will the ads say?

We create a small set of ads chosen for your market, such as a helpful article, an offer and proof from your real reviews or results, and point each one at the page you choose.

What about privacy and cookies?

Retargeting relies on a tracking pixel on your website, so your privacy policy and cookie notice should mention it. We'll point out what needs covering when we set it up.

My website doesn't get much traffic. Is it worth it?

It works with whatever traffic and contacts you have, and your contact list counts too. A smaller audience simply means fewer people to stay in front of, and your monthly report shows exactly how often your ads were seen.

How long does this take to set up?

It's set up as part of the same phased engagement as the rest of your system: strategy and discovery, system design and setup, implementation and onboarding, then ongoing management. Setup covers the pixel, your audiences, the first ads and the pages they point to.
